Aldo Zelnick is the star of a forthcoming comic novel series for kids by Karla Oceanak and Kendra Spanjer. The first book in the series, Artsy-Fartsy, will be available in early December. In the meantime, here's a taste.

Eleven-year-old Aldo lives with his family in the choicest city in Northern Colorado. He’s not athletic like his older brother, he’s not a rock hound like his best friend, but he does like Slushies. And when his artsy-fartsy grandmother, Goosy, gives him a sketchbook, it turns out Aldo is a pretty good cartoonist.
